Gardening: Diary Entry #5

diary-entry Gardening Bee

Hi hi dorks!

I had a good day… AGAIN!! Can you believe it?
I worked in the garden today and it was a lot of fun:)

But before I get into that, I want to give a little update about the website. Yesterday the site was down because there was a problem with Neocities (my websiteprovider). Since the problem wasn't on my end, I couldn't do anything about it sadly enough. I really tried my best but there just wasn't a solution, the only option was to wait until it came back online. I hope this won't happen often, and I don't think it will, but when the site is down, dw, I'm trying my best to get it back up:D If there's nothing I can do, we just have to wait it out because I'm sure Neocities tries their hardest to keep everything working.

Back to gardening! I was gardening in my frontyard (its not very big, quite small actually), making everything nice and neat and taking care of all the plants (cuz it's hella dry out here right now). At one point I found a dead bee (aww), so I buried it next to a nice flower to give it the peaceful rest it deserves:) When I'm gardening, I always find myself wishing I had one of those dungarees/overalls. I think they look so cute. Honestly, I would wear them to school, but I don't think I'd get very nice reactions from everybody, sadly enough T-T

Anyway, besides the dead bee I also found a woodlouse who seemed to be stuck between two bricks of my house, so I freed him. (I'm such a good person, I know, I know, Luuk the insect saver right?). The only real problem I had with gardening was that my parents wanted me to pull out all the unwanted plants. I actually like those because they make the garden look more like a jungle or a forest instead of just a boring garden (with a lot of stone bricks and stuff). There was this one very pretty flower growing out of the street lantern, and I thought it looked very beautiful so I saved that one. I don't care what my parents say, hehe.

Also, I got my ereader Yay!!!!

I already put a few books onto it to read on the plane to Japan. I got IT by Stephen King. I've been stuck halfway through it for a few months now and I just can't find the motivation to finish it, even though I do want to know the ending. So maybe if I'm bored on the plane I'll finally have the motivation to read it again, I have 13 hours on the plane anyway. I also downloaded Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson. I am loving this book so much already, so I wouldn't be surprised if I finish it before I even leave for Japan.

And lastly I got Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I'm currently reading through the whole Harry Potter series together with my mom. She is a pretty slow reader, so I always wait to start the book we're on until she's at the last 100 pages or something. It takes her about half a year to finish each one, and I think we started reading the books like 3 years ago? The books only get thicker from here, so I think it'll take another 2 years until we've finished the entire series lolz.

So yeah a good day:) I'm on a good day streak of two right now, and I really hope I can keep it up. Only two days left until I go to Japan! I think if I can make these next two days happy ones, I'll be set for a really long streak because I hope every day in Japan will be a good day:D

Bye bye readers, I hope y'all are having good days too!

Luuk... out. (For today, anyway.)
