Diary Entry #1
Hi dear readers! Well, I don’t think I actually have many readers right now, considering this is my very first post. If you’re here, congratulations! You are a pioneer of my digital archive. I’m so excited to start this, and I really hope a few of you will decide go on this journey with me and read allll my blogs!

I have to repeat this school year:(
I’m pretty scared. But instead of laying in my bed, depressed and crying, I thought, “Why not build a website and document the whole thing?” If I end up loving this (and if i still have the motivation), I’ll definitely keep blogging after this school year is over.
You might be wondering why I’m doing a redo of this schoolyear. Well, back at New Year's, my brain decided to start a permanent, uninvited headache. It hasn't left since. It's been about half a year now? and despite a lot of doctor visits, we haven't found the cause or a solution yet. It’s pretty annoying, but I’m doing my best to just look past it and keep doing things i like.
Because of the constant headache, I missed a ton of school, missed a ton of tests, and, spoiler alert, turns out you actually need grades to pass the year. I tried my best to catch up, but eventually it got too much and i realized that it really wasnt doable, should've realized that earlier but oh well...
So, why am I scared for this schoolyear? It’s not really the redo of the year that terrifies me. It’s the social stuff. All my friends are moving to the next year, and I’m staying behind. My brain loves to tell me that I'll be completely alone. So, my #1 goal for next year is to make at least one friend, just one, and I’ll be the happiest guy in the world.
Let’s talk about happier things! My name is Luuk. I like my name, though it would be cooler if it was spelled Luke. Like Luke Skywalker yk, that'd be pretty cool.
So I'm a Star Wars nerd. (Oop). I like escaping into stories. Doesnt matter if its Star Wars, Harry Potter, Dc, Lord of the Rings, Doctor Who... if it has a universe I can get lost in, I'm there. If I could transport myself into one, I’d choose Harry Potter, specifically after Voldemort gets defeated cuz i don't wanna die no thank you (sorry, spoilers oops). The Star Wars universe is cool, but I feel like I'd accidentally get stepped on by an AT-AT. I just want a peaceful life... with some magic.
When I’m not daydreaming, I’m usually looking up at the sky (though I guess you could call that daydreaming too, maybe you'd call that nightdreaming? Idk). Astronomy fascinates me. Stars, planets, black holes... it’s all beautiful and quiet compared to earth, it can get quite loud and busy down here on earth and im not very good at putting up with that. Down here, I try to find nature to hide in. It’s a bit tough since I live in a city, but when I do find a quiet spot, my brain finally relaxes.
Oh, and if you're trying to picture me right now: I’m blonde, I wear glasses, and my feet are kinda like always into a pair of Converse (no i do not sleep with them). I love Converse.
You’ll definitely get to know more about me along the way, if you decide to keep following my blog ofc, which i hope youll do:)
To keep myself focussed, I made a little checklist of things I want to accomplish with this blog and my life over the coming year:
• Continue the website: Turn this website into my own personal corner of the internet where I can escape when i get too overwhelmed or stressed.
• Get some followers maybe?: Find a few lovely souls to share this space with, so i dont feel like im sharing all of this with no one:)
• The friendship quest: Make at least one friend at school so I don't have to sit alone.
• My archive: Post consistently and create a beautiful little archive of my life.
• Enjoy my life: dont stress too much, and somehow, make this a great year.
I think that’s everything for tonight! I’m going to make some final tweaks to the website tomorrow since it’s still a work in progress, but we are getting there. I really hope this is the start of something amazing.
